About Ms.Vidya Shankar :

• Vidya Shankar Chakravarthy, a Chemical engineer turned social worker and cause activist is the founder chairperson of the 27 year old Relief Foundation (charitable trust) that works for rural children and communities.

  
  

• She has had a 10 year stint in the Juvenile Justice department of Tamilnadu on a few prestigious honorary postings, supporting rehabilitation of victims of crime and deprivation.

  
  

• She is an Internationally trained Montessori guide for 6 to 18 yr old children specialised in Adolescent psychology apart from being a child study expert and Montessori coach.

  
  

• She is a descendant (great grand niece ) of Shri Rajaji (Sri C.Rajagopalachari - Former Minister of Home Affairs of India), from her father's family and Raja Ravi Varma (Indian painter and artist) from her mother's side.

  
  

• She’s an artist bhajan singer and author and she’s written two books.
